1814 Wine Corner Restaurant

At 1814 Wine Corner, Briukhovetskiye Architects gave wood, glass, and metal a contemporary expression. The bar’s corner location lets light reach into the interior, and the designers built on that advantage with classical and wave-shaped lamps and lighting incorporated into the furniture. PlusObject crafted the furniture and glass elements in partnership with Craft&Concept.

The atmosphere begins at the entrance, where the bar’s frosted-glass logo sits against a wooden relief. Inside, natural wood brings warmth and texture alongside the vivid green of the Green Planet glass wall panels.

Behind the oak-slat bar counter, a Green Planet panel receives light from lamps set at different heights and from the shelves holding glasses and bottles. The varied lighting draws out the glass’s texture and deep green color. A metal edge gives the counter a precise finish, balancing the softer surfaces around it.

The project reflects the kind of creative challenge PlusObject enjoys: working closely with designers and partners to give each material and detail a purpose in the experience of a place.
