Baan Bubble House Facade
Baan Bubble House is a retro-futurist residence in Kharkiv with an exterior designed to change with its surroundings. Its facade is covered in 249 circular glass elements made in seven diameters. Each is shaped from slumped glass and finished with a titanium coating that catches the sky and landscape.
From a distance, the circles give the house a striking, playful geometry. Up close, each holds a different reflection. As the light shifts, so does the appearance of the facade, making the building feel connected to the environment around it.
